Jenny the Military Spouse

It’s a BOY! Congratulations to Jeremy Hilton for winning the title of Military Spouse of the Year 2012.

On May 10, 2012, “Jeremy Hilton was named the 2012 Military Spouse of the Year … in recognition of his commitment to the military community. Nominated by his wife, Lt. Col. Renae Hilton, his accomplishments include extensive advocacy work on behalf of special-needs families and remarkable dedication to the care of his daughter, who was born with severe medical challenges. He is the first male spouse to win this prestigious award.”

Mr. Hilton was a classmate of my husband’s at the Air Force Academy and is a friend of mine, as well.  I’m so excited that a male spouse won and that I am acquainted with him.  Please send him your congratulations on Facebook or in person (best option).

For those who’ve asked why I haven’t updated the comics in so long…I’m having some minor problems getting the posts to show up. I need to update my Comic Press program but it’s basically an all-day job so I’m waiting until I can get the time to do that. I did post a new toon today but it may take a couple of hours to show up. In the end, I’m going to take a weekend soon and update the whole site. Thanks for being concerned but all is well. Just slow going right now. ~ j
